The Heart of Texas Council of Governments (HOTCOG) supports member organizations working to enhance our residents quality of life, support local businesses and solve everyday challenges. HOTCOG provides the services and support local communities need to grow and thrive.
Our 80 member organizations include counties, cities, school districts, community colleges, and special districts in Bosque, Hill, McLennan, Limestone, Falls and Freestone counties. From health and human services, to regional services, transportation, community development, environmental services and economic development - HOTCOG fills gaps and assists community leaders in their efforts to strengthen the Heart of Texas region. Regional Public Transit Coordination Plan
The Heart of Texas Council of Governments (HOTCOG) is updating the region's five-year Coordination Transportation Plan. The plan seeks to identify practical, sustainable, and cost-effective strategies for improving the region's mobility.
